Iceland Holiday Weekend

Although we still aren’t sure what the holiday was in celebration of…What V and I did quickly learn over the weekend is that Icelandic people know how to party! Just to prove that point, we are going to re-hash our wild night for you : )

7:30 PM – We pick up our fellow American & teammate, Ashley Bares

8:00 PM – After getting lost for quite some time, we arrive fashionably late at our teammate’s house (we have absolutely NO idea what we are getting ourselves into)

Let the celebration begin – happy birthday Kristrun!

Icelandic mojitos – almost, but not quite as good as our famous organic* coconut mojitos from home

Cheers

Game time – the first of 10 or more rounds of Jenga

My punishment for not having a steady hand – “Whooopsss”

Props included – a sweet afro & an even sexier mustache

2:30 AM – We embark for downtown Reykjavik (V & I are already for bed at this point. Also note, this is the time most bars would be closing in Seattle).

7:00 AM – We arrive back to our apartment (after turning down any & all “after-party” offers. After party, what?!?!?!?!).

7:30 AM – While looking like death and after reliving some of the nights/mornings most memorable events, we decide it’s FINALLY time for bed.

Ha, glad you’re slowly working into the Icelandic partying traditions. I think if you rush into the after after party the blog might need to be changed to, “Dawgs in Trouble in Iceland”.
Love seeing the pictures! Keep them coming!
